History Lecture: Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 4:00 pm

"William Russell: Founded a Franklin County in two different states".

Chris Ozbirn, a historian and archivist from Franklin County, Alabama, will tell us about William Russell's life and political career when he left the Franklin County he founded in Tennessee to start a new Franklin County in the State of Alabama. 

The lecture is free and refreshments are served.  This year's lecture series, "Characters of the County", is provided in partnership with the Franklin County Historical Society.
